Paradise Island, Bahamas—On July 24, 2010 at the Atlantis Resort, the reigning Miss Teen USA, Stormie Bree Henley, will pass her crown to her successor. The Miss Teen USA pageant, co-hosted by Seth Goldman and former Miss USA Crystle Stewart, who just hosted the CHI Deep Brilliance Urban Trend Battle in Houston, Texas. Miss Teen will be televised be streaming live at www.missteenusa.com and www.seventeen.com.

Each year, Miss Teen USA hosts a week long fantasy camp the week prior to the show. This camp allows any teen from the age of 12 – 17 to sign up and get access to some of the activities that the Miss Teen USA contestants participate in. Additionally, this is the first year Farouk Systems sponsored the camp and partnered up with The Pursuit of the Crown cosmetics. The cosmetics line sends an Emmy award winning make-up artist to teach the class, and for hair, the Miss Universe Organization requested the young and fun Farouk Artist, Anna Cantu. The hair and make-up classes are held together at different sites around the Atlantis Hotel. Then, after speaking with MTV, we were able to get the CHI products featured on MTV’s popular hit show, Made. The episode that showcased our products will air this November.

As the official hair care sponsor of the pageant for the 9th year in a row, Farouk Systems sent a team of artists to prep the hosts, guest judges and all of the teen contestants for the Miss Teen USA 2010 Presentation show and Live show. Each contestant receives a CHI iron along with an assortment of CHI and BioSilk products. Then for the lucky teen that is crowned Miss Teen USA 2010 will receive one year of Farouk products.
